Student reflection of an author:
 An awesome author uses full stops at the end of sentences.  They sound out their words to make sure they can spell it correctly. They also make sure they use ‘wow’ words and have great book standards.

“I did a drawing of an elephant and a leaf for Mrs Bergmann.  I helped Chelsea to cut out her picture.  I also helped planting some strawberries.  I contribute in the garden.”

Success Criteria: We made our own healthy smoothy and fruit salad by cutting, measuring and weighing our fruit.

  •  I can use my iPod to scan QR Codes to obtain tricky describing words to enhance and describe my story. 
  • I can explain what I need to do if I get stuck with choosing the best describing word for my story. 
After writing 
  •  I can share my story with my buddy.  
  •  I ask my buddy if my describing word matches my picture.
  •  I shared my story with my buddy.
Success Criteria:  

I will know I have done this when I 
  •  draw a detailed picture plan
  •  use some adjectives to described my picture
  • use my iPod to scan QR Codes to obtain describing words.

There are 5 happy people and there are 3 sad people.  1 person is tired and 7 are surprised and 4 are angry.  The surprised people are the most, they are 7 and the tired people are the least, only 1.
